FAQ

1. Is it ok if a picture or story I submit for entry has been published somewhere else?
   Yes, it’s ok. However, please note that once you submit your entry, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the contest. You can read the Terms and Conditions here.
2. How many entries am I allowed to submit?
   There is no limit. You can submit as many pictures and stories as you like.
3. Are there any restrictions on who can enter the awards contest?
   Participants must be at least 18 years of age, and reside in one of the countries specified in the Terms and Conditions. You can read the Terms and Conditions here.
4. What is the deadline for entry submission?
   The contest runs for three months, from March 15 to June 15, 2010. The final deadline for submitting entries is June 15, 2010. The deadlines for the three monthly prizes are April 15, 2010, May 15, 2010, and June 15, 2010, respectively. 
5. When do the People's Choice voting periods end?
   People's Choice voting for each monthly prize closes April 30, 2010, May 31, 2010, and June 30, 2010, respectively. There will be a Grand Prize voting period of one month from July 1-31, 2010. The monthly Editor's Choice winners and the top three People's Choice entries for each month will be eligible for the Grand Prize.
6. How can I win the People's Choice award?
   To win the People's Choice award you need to attract the most votes for your entry. Actively promote your entry to all your friends, colleagues, and associates. Cheating by registering multiple times on the site will not be tolerated.
7. What are the awards available to be won?
   The following awards will be given out in both the People’s Choice and Editor’s Choice categories (no single writer or photographer can win more than one monthly prize):-

   The entry deadlines for the three monthly prizes are April 15, 2010, May 15, 2010, and June 15, 2010, respectively. 

   Voting: People's Choice voting for each monthly prize closes April 30, 2010, May 31, 2010, and June 30, 2010, respectively.
